Windthrope Manor is a Gothic Revival-style building of stone and wood in Severnford, England . Sharp peaked roofs, delicately scrolled wood trim and tall, narrow windows decorated with leaded glass give the manor a gingerbread house appearance. The garage, a converted carriage house, stands well behind the house.

The interior of the building is as charming as the exterior with more delicate woodwork, beautiful stonework and the like.

The ruins of a Norman castle are also on the grounds.

Thomas inherited the manor from his long lost cousin Martin Dixon.
